Street Photography

Street photography is the discipline of finding the picture in the everyday: a gesture, an expression, a moment of light. Jon shoots street work as both a personal practice and on commission for editorial clients, agencies and private collectors.

Based in Dunmow, Essex, Jon works the streets of London regularly and covers towns and cities across the wider South East. He also undertakes commissions further afield, including travel-based street photography for editorial features.

Approach

The Nikon Z9 and Z8 mirrorless system is small enough to work the street quietly and fast enough to catch the moment. Jon shoots with a mix of prime lenses, sticking to natural light and resisting the urge to over-edit. The goal is an honest image with strong composition, not a heavily filtered one.

All commissioned street work is delivered with a clean edit suitable for press, editorial or commercial use. Image licensing terms are agreed upfront so there are no surprises later.
